Tasks	At Kayak I was manager for a squad of engineers at different levels. My responsibilities included building out product and content data into consumable AWS microservices for consumption in mobile devices and web browsers using OO PHP, Guzzle JSON and VueJS/React. As well as my team we collaborated on adjacent engineering projects across the globe including Denmark, USA, Germany and Lithuania. The team consisted of two full time engineers in London and two in Lithuania, a project manager, designer and full time QA resources. The role was 70% hands on and required, mentoring, 1-2-1s, team managing, leave approvals, capacity and resourcing, contract creation and renewals. Occasional travel to EU.
